Unboxing a Waterman Rollerball

If you’ve just received your new Waterman rollerball, this article will walk you through unboxing. If you’re considering buying one for yourself or someone special, consider the Hemisphere or the Expert. This article will give you a sneak peak into what you can expect from a fancy new Waterman rollerball pen.

Here’s the three things that come with every Waterman pen product:

  1. your pen
  2. A blue Waterman gift box
  3. A white outer protective sleeve

Waterman Expert Rollerball

Let’s get started. Go ahead and remove the outer protective sleeve. Simply slide the gift box out through the open side.

Be sure to notice Waterman’s impeccable branding. It’s okay to judge this book by its cover; Waterman’s brand is only outmatched by the quality of their pens. They’re a favorite in our own shop, and you’ll see why really soon.

Now, open the gift box.

There’s your new Waterman rollerball! (Oooooo shiny!)

Don’t waste any time pulling it out of the gift box. Simply remove it from beneath the ribbon that holds it in place. If you ordered refills with your pen, check for them beneath the pen cushion.

Hopefully, you have some good paper nearby so you can get the most out of your first experience with your Waterman writing instrument. Rollerball pens are a unique middle ground between ballpoints and fountain pens. They have the ballpoint mechanism, but they use water-based ink like a fountain pen. All this adds up to a really smooth writing experience.

Test out your new Waterman rollerball. What do you like about it? How does it compare to other pen companies and other rollerball pens? Waterman pens are impeccable writing instruments; they just have that purposeful feel that writers go crazy for. We sure do! Enjoy your new pen. And if you haven’t bought one yet, be sure to get yours custom engraved by Dayspring Pens.
