We took a quick video when we were engraving today to show you how the laser engraving process happens on a pen.
This pen is our Achievement Value pen, and it is being engraved by a YAG laser, two passes. It takes about 20 second to engrave after it is setup on the computer.
The video quality is not professional, but gives you an idea of how it happens.

Not that precise of a laser and mabey they could of tuned the high pitched sound that gave my mom a heart attack but she made it. Other than that it was cool

Some people may not know about lasers. Don't let the light emitted from the laser throw you off, Yag lasers are precise to down to microns. Very cool video.

Or put it another way, most of what you see here is a reflection of the laser beam pulsing off the pen thousands of time per second.
