Turn cap to the all the way to the right until metal piece emerges
from the tip to be sure all the old lead is out.
Turn cap back to the left until its
stops. Insert new lead completely into the point.
Press the end of the
lead gently on a hard surface to secure the lead in the pencil.
If
you don't do this step, the lead won't catch on the inside and will
just fall out the end. Once its seated in there, the mechanism will
grab it and allow it to be twisted in and out as needed.

We thought it would be good to write and clear up any confusion.
Here are the details.
Our company name is Dayspring Pen Shop, your credit card will read our
company name. We have one phone number 88-694-7367, and one customer service team
for both sites.
We posted a video a few weeks ago of a pen being engraved, this one is a little bit better to see. It is of a Cross Calias Pen being engraved on our YAG engraver.

A few weeks ago a customer received their pen and was under the
impression that the pen they received was not engraved but imprinted.
Of course it was laser engraved, and some understanding was all that was needed.
But
it gives us a good chance here to discuss how engraving works and
effects the final appearance of the decoration on the pens.
First,
just to clarify, we do not even own printing equipment for decorating
personal names therefore we only pens with personal names by our laser
engraving machines. No exceptions when it comes to personal names, they
are all laser engraved.
(We DO offer printing options for pens
with a business logo on them, usually these CAN be imprinted in color or
engraved by customers choice. But not for personal names. This
business logo option requires a higher min order of 24 pens and has a
logo setup fee. )
When a laser beam hits the metal on pen,
depending on alloy in the pen or depending on if the pen is a coated
metal, the decoration can appear differently. ... read on...

We took a quick video when we were engraving today to show you how the laser engraving process happens on a pen.
This pen is our Achievement Value pen, and it is being engraved by a YAG laser, two passes. It takes about 20 second to engrave after it is setup on the computer.
