By default, the engraving shows up a tone on tone on the pen cap. The black part can be engraved by special request, but the engraving shows up brass color when engraved there.
great pen. ordered one as a christmas gift for a friend of mine. she loves it. but the picture shows the pen with the black part engraved, and when i received it, the upper silver part was engraved instead. i then read the description that indicates that the silver engraving is standard, not the black part. but still, a great memorable gift that the receiver loves, and thats whats important.

Very nice quality.
Ordered two engraved pen. They shipped very fast with the correct engravings. Customer service was great, I put in the wrong address and they immediately corrected it. I would recommend these pens anyday.
