1. What does Free Pen Engraving Include?
The free or standard engraving includes 1 or 2 lines engraved on cap of the pen, up to 24 characters and spaces per line in one of standard fonts.
On some pens only 1 lines will fit, on some pens there is a charge for the second line.
2. How do I order multiple pens?
If you need to order more than one pen, each with a different name there are 2 ways you can do this.
a. You can enter them into your shopping cart one at a time, putting a different name for each one.
b. You can change the quantity to the total number of pens you need and then either put all the names in the additional instructions box or send an email with the engraving directions.
2. What Font Styles can I choose from?
On Cross pens, you can choose from a standard block or script font. Font images are shown on product pages. We can do upper and upper /lower case.

3. How long does production take?
Standard engraving production time is 4-5 business days. We also have a large selection of pens that we offer on a 1 day rush engraving time. Note, production time do not include shipping transit time. If you need a pen to ship faster, please look at the select products on our ship today page.
5. What if I need a engraving in a second location?
We can offer this, the cost is $5.50 per line, we can put this engraving on the other side of the cap. 6. What will the engraving look like?
Good question. In general on bare metals, like the silver, chrome, and gold finishes the laser engraving will appear a "tone on tone". All pens are laser engraved, and no ink is used. Your engraving will be very durable.
The decoration appears in the color that the results from the laser interacting with the metal and this can vary from pen to pen. On a coated metal pen, like a Black barrel, the engraving will generally appears the color of the trim. Variations of this may be listed on the individual product information.
On pens that are not laser engraved, but that are deep cut engraved, we will use color fill in the engraving. If you need more information, please email us.
7. What is debossing on leather products?
Debossing is when the text or logo is pressed into the product using a die. On some products the debossing can be filled in color.8. Can you engrave a custom signature on Cross pens?

Laser engraving:
Laser engraving is done by a precision beam of laser light which burns the engraving into or onto the product. It never wears off.
Deep cut engraving with color fill:
Available on some of the mid to higher end Cross Brand Pens, this option is when the engraved cuts into the product, and then the engraved cut is hand filled with color for a very classy finish. The pen is then polished for completion. The fill color is determined by the pen type. Fill colors can be requested.
